Chavez-Grieves Celebrates 25 Years

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – Chavez-Grieves Consulting Engineers, Inc., is celebrating 25 years as one of the top structural engineering design firms in the Southwest.

In celebration of this milestone, the firm hosted a reception on Friday,     November  4, 2005  at its new corporate headquarters at 4700 Lincoln N.E.  Chavez-Grieves honored its many clients, friends and former employees by thanking them for their support over the years.

Victor J. Chavez and David Grieves founded the company in Albuquerque in 1980, and have recruited talented and creative people who have turned out to be some of the top engineers in the region, several of whom remain principals in the firm. For a quarter century, Chavez-Grieves has stood for innovation in structural engineering and project management.  Its original vision was to be the “engineering firm of choice”, and it continues that role today in supplying its many clients with quality design and service.

“We still adhere to our core values by uniting our design and management skills with technology, individual contribution, talent, discipline, reputation, integrity and teamwork,” according to co-founder Victor Chavez. “The cornerstone of our management philosophy is the encouragement and support provided to our staff to seek creative and economic solutions to meet our clients' engineering and project management needs.
