Rita Phagan, Accounting Manager, has been at Chavez-Grieves since December 2001.  Rita has an extensive background in the financial arena, with more than 25 years of experience. 

A native of Albuquerque, she holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business/Accounting from the University of Phoenix.  She was previously employed at Davis Kitchens of Albuquerque, where she served as Comptroller.  Her background consists of management positions in manufacturing, medical and public accounting firms. 

Her financial services contributions have been particularly significant since taking over as Accounting Manager, as Chavez-Grieves has dramatically increased its market share and profitability.  At the same time, she helped the firm significantly reduce operational costs, while remaining a leading-edge supplier of design and project management services to government and private facilities across the United States. She also assisted in developing a comprehensive financial reporting system, which effectively contributes to solid management decisions.
