Lisa Webster, P.E., Vice President and Senior Structural Engineer, has been with Chavez-Grieves since 1992. She and her team are currently managing more than 20 projects under the recently awarded EA (Engineering and Architectural) agreement with Sandia National Laboratories. Under this agreement, Chavez-Grieves delivers engineering services with architectural support. Projects are primarily structural, mechanical, electrical and civil engineering in nature. Chavez-Grieves is one of only thirteen Sandia National Laboratories "Partners" among more than 600 vendors. The firm, under Ms. Webster's management, also performs structural engineering services under a Sandia Labs Architectural and Engineering (AE) agreement. She has extensive experience on facilities for both the private and public sectors. Her design experience includes new facilities, renovations, rehabilitations, additions, remodels, upgrades, investigations, and analyses of building materials in the design of governmental facilities, including national laboratories, military installations, and state and local municipalities, as well as manufacturing plants, office buildings, educational facilities, and Indian health service edifices. She is versatile in managing teams through all phases of planning, design and construction, and has demonstrated skill in allocating resources, planning implementation strategies, and maintaining schedule and budget control.

Ms. Webster has been involved with the National Council of Examiners for Engineers and Surveyors (NCEES) since 1997. She is the Head of the Structural Group, which operates under the Civil Engineering Committee. This group meets 3-4 times annually to write and review the civil exam standards for the NCEES. Ms. Webster has served as a multi-discipline Program Manager at Los Alamos National Laboratory. Ms. Webster served as the first woman President of the American Society for Civil Engineer, New Mexico Section. She holds a BS degree in Civil Engineering from New Mexico State University, Las Cruces (1989).
